The Griffin Fire Department operates with both paid and volunteer personnel.

Our full-time paid staff works from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Our volunteer firefighters and EMTs handle all calls for service and respond
  from their homes as calls are dispatched, 24 hours a day / 365 days a year.

All personnel are expected to attend practice drills and continuing education classes.

1 Full-time Chief                                                 1 Deputy Chief

1 Full-time Administrative Assistant                    2 Captains

2 Full-time Firefighter/EMTs                             3 Lieutenants

                                                                          17 Firefighters, EMTs, and Firefighter/EMTs
