What if I'd like to volunteer to serve my community without
becoming a firefighter?
The Griffin Volunteer Fire Department's new policy allows a
volunteer. to become an Emergency Medical Technician without first going through
the Fire Academy. These EMTs respond to all medical emergencies and may
assist
in fire-related alarms to perform medical duties.
